Cloud energy estimate
Energy in kWh equals cloud cost in USD multiplied by the service intensity factor in kWh per USD and the data center PUE factor.
Location-based cloud emissions
CO2e in kilograms equals energy in kWh multiplied by the regional grid carbon intensity in grams of CO2 per kWh, divided by 1,000.
FinOps score and recommendation ranking
The FinOps score weights cost efficiency at 60% and carbon efficiency at 40%. Recommendation ranking weights cost impact at 70% and carbon impact at 30%.
Anomalies and forecasts
Anomalies compare daily spend with a seven-day moving baseline. Month-end forecasts use the observed daily run rate and remain clearly identified as projections.
